We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager to lead our procurement, inventory, logistics, and customer support for our advanced micro- and nanofabrication operations. You will craft supply chain strategy, negotiate with global suppliers, and maintain seamless material flow from order to delivery ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining the quality, compliance, and timeliness of goods and services. Close collaboration with R&D, production, and commercial teams will be key to driving continuous improvement across systems and data. Key responsibilities
Procurement
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with overall business goals.
• Manage procurement of raw materials, goods, and services to meet production and R&D demands, including placing orders and following up.
• Manage procurement for office supplies, ensuring timely orders and follow-up.
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure high-quality goods at cost-effective rates.
Inventory
• Oversee inventory stock levels and values.
• Maintain and update system data, including supplier details, articles, inventories, BOMs, and ERP data.
• Analyze stock levels to maintain optimal inventory and manage demand forecasting.
• Conduct yearly inventory audits.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing goods to ensure quality standards are met.
Logistics
• Oversee logistics and distribution to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Manage logistical challenges, such as delayed deliveries, customs clearance, and damaged goods.
Supply Chain
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure day-to-day operations and business objectives are met.
• Continuously analyze supply chain data and performance—focusing on suppliers, logistics, inventory, customer support, and ERP data—to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement new systems, if necessary, to optimize processes.
Customer Support
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, shipments, and delivery timelines.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Provide proactive updates to customers regarding order status, shipment tracking, and potential delays.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and production, to address customer needs and improve service quality.
• Support the development and implementation of processes to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s or APICS/CSCP certification a plus).
- 4+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, end-to-end supply-chain leadership in advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, or other high-tech environments, including global sourcing and contract negotiation.
- Hands-on experience with modern ERP/MRP systems, inventory analytics, and demand-planning tools; able to convert data into actionable insights.
- Track record of maintaining optimal stock levels, managing international logistics and customs, and driving on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance.
- Working knowledge of ISO/AS quality standards and Lean/Six Sigma or similar methodologies to streamline processes and reduce total cost.
- Strong interpersonal skills to partner with R&D, production, finance, and customers, coupled with the ability to influence suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with sustainability and ESG-focused sourcing practices is a plus.
